On buying gold

The guys at BBC have made a very short story on buying and selling gold in World of Warcraft, with two very short interviews with a buyer and a seller. Jack(ass) Thompson on MSNBC

For those of you who are unfamiliar with those guy, he seems to think it’s his calling in life to ban all videogames. And that’s all the introduction he needs.
In this interview, and many before it, he talks about the Virginia Tech shooting that made world news. He’s saying that Cho (the shooter) used Counter-Strike to train for the shooting etc etc. Problem is even Cho’s friends said he hadn’t played it for 5 years and the police didn’t find any such games on his computer. Jack doesn’t care.

Mt Hyjal Explored! (TBC version)

I was looking around at YouTube today and came across a video where some guys named Flo and Benny are exploring the Caverns of Time version of Mount Hyjal.
For anyone who’s been to Mount Hyjal before TBC, this will be very interesting to check out. There seem to be some major differences!
What bugs me is that Blizzard just keeps re-using the same house/tower models for everything they do. Would it kill you to do some new stuff? -_-

If you’re interested in the songs, the first one is Disturbed - Ten Thousand Fists and the second one is In Flames - Free Fall. Music I very much approve of! ;D

If you’ve never been there and you’d like to check it out for yourself in this video:

A bit of information; when the guy in this video pulls up the support screen to use the auto-unstuck command… that’s pointless. As you get over the edge of the mountain, keep to the right of the “normal” (but blocked) entrance to Hyjal and you can pretty much just jump over the invisible wall at one point.

REMEMBER: Being inside the zone is not allowed, you might get a warning, suspended or banned depending on the mood of the guy who nails you, if that should happen. That being said, anything you do will leave a trace in their logs. You can minimize your log impact by not taking damage/mounting/dismounting/using consumables/chatting etc etc. Also, try doing it during off-hours when there are fewer people who might do the /who-command. Be sneaky!
